For motion, the camera can record a clip of all the motion it sees, but the app lets you choose to be notified only of people. This is a great feature — I certainly don't want a push notification every time a car goes by — and it worked very well. I never got a notification of a person that wasn't actually a person. Then, you can just open the app to see a timeline of all motion events, not just people. The Nest Hello has some other cool features worth mentioning:Pre recorded responses: If you can't even be bothered to speak to the person at the door, you can tap the Responses button that appears in the Nest app and choose one of
three recordings that will play out of the doorbell's speaker. Tap "Can't come to the door," for example, and the speaker will cheerfully chirp, "Hi there!We can't come to the door right now, but we'll be notified you stopped by.

doorbell camera 106 may play a pre programmed ring chime, before the remote chime 1006 rings or concurrently while the remote chime 1006 is ringing. In some implementations, how the speaker of the doorbell camera 106 and the remote chime 1006 function may be determined according to a home structure state e. g. , at home, away, sleeping. For example, if the home structure state is set or detected as “sleeping,” the speaker of the doorbell camera 106 plays the pre programmed ring chime or an audio message associated with the home structure state, while the remote chime 1006 remains silent. Moreover, a message may be sent to the client device 220 that executes the user mobile application 624 in association with the doorbell camera 106, indicating that the user has pressed the button 1002 of the doorbell camera 106 at a certain time.

The fact that the system can be used via an app on your phone, a key fob or a key pad makes it really versatile and there is always someone on the end of a phone or ready to answer an email with any questions you have so the after service has been wonderful. So far we have installed an internal alarm system but we will also be using Smart Home Security to provide us with external CCTV cameras and gate automation, all
which will integrate with what we currently have and be controlled via our existing app. A great feature is the ability to take the system with you
when you move, though this is not relevant to us as we plan on staying in this house for quite a while!I had given this a one star because it was not accurately presented to me. I argue it’s not wireless because I asked when I was told that it was wireless and finds its own internet that I have a medical device that finds its own internet, will it not conflict with it and I was told it will not but on the day of fitting a box was plugged into my internet and left there. I felt like something had been taken off me from under my feet because there was not supposed to be something plugged into my internet, I was led to believe it finds its own internet. However I was vulnerable at that time as I had just been burgled. Subsequently the alarm would go off without any intrusion. I reported this and on two separate occasions it was attended to but on the third occasion it wasn’t and later I was told to read my manual which was emailed to me. But it continued going off without intrusion so I turned it off until I went away when people I had left to attend to the intruder alarm eventually complained that it was going off without intruders. I then left a one star rating which was responded to very promptly and I am Very Pleased that I can now set my alarm on and go to sleep without being woken up unnecessarily. I was requested to delete the one star rating and I did.
